BLACKS: They should be GOP
I have just finished reading "The Tuskegee Airmen" which is the story about Black Aviators, mostly fighter pilots, who were trained in Tuskegee, Ala., and sent to combat in 1943 in the Southern European theater to the islands of the Mediterranean, Sicily, Italy, Southern France, Greece and other south and central European nations.
The book details the obstacles which they overcame for it to be recognized that they were capable of flying. Once they were given the opportunity to prove themselves, they did very well, just as black athletes have shown themselves to be exceptional athletes. We owe a great debt of gratitude and respect to those men who overcame great odds to gain the right to serve their country, many of whom gave their lives serving their country as fighter pilots.
When Arabs (Islam) captured Blacks, marched them across Africa to seaports and sold them to slave traders, many hundreds of years ago, it was assumed that Blacks were only capable of following directions, could be sold and kept as slaves (property) and were of inferior intelligence.
In England, Wilberforce spent his whole political life trying to get slavery outlawed, and because of his efforts, it was finally accomplished. In the U.S. the southern states rejected the abolition of slavery, and we all know that the preservation of the Union and freeing of slaves cost President Lincoln his life, and 600,000 service men their lives also.
If it had not been for the newly formed Grand Old Party (Republican) and the election of Lincoln, who knows how many generations it would have been before slavery was actually abolished!
One wonders, had the president not been killed, how much sooner and more smoothly changes in segregation policies in the South (exclusively Democratic) would have occurred. It took another 100 years to break the policy and not until President Eisenhower was it accomplished, and then by force! The Democrats finally lost control of Black men's lives.
By all rights, if Blacks were to look at history and understand it, they all ought to be Republicans, because it was the Democrats, right on from Sen. Douglass who debated President Lincoln, who kept the Blacks under their control, and even now they consider them to be inferior, unable to compete on their own capabilities, but have to be given special consideration compared to others, for school, jobs, etc. In this way the Democrats still demean them and relegate them to inferiority.
The people of America were given information that Obama was not only partly Black, but that he was so exceptionally brilliant that he would be the best president ever - almost god-like.
Let it be known that the problem we have with him is not his color! He could be yellow, red, green or orange. The problem is that either he is an arrogant child trying to do a real man's job, or he is purposely destroying America. He is not a good representation of his race! He detracts from his great people! You be the judge!
