Safari Club to hold 30th annual fundraiser Feb. 11

The Inland Empire Chapter of the Safari Club will hold its 30th annual fundraiser, dinner and auction on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Mirabeau Park Hotel in Spokane Valley. Doors open at 3 p.m., with the auction and dinner to follow.

The special celebrity guest speaker is Mike Rogers Jr.

Safari Club supports hunter's rights, education and conservation around the world. Seventy percent of the funds raised locally stay local to support the freedom to hunt, conservation, hunter's education and "Sportsman Against Hunger," which donated more than two tons of processed meat to local food banks and community kitchens last year.

The auction will include numerous North American, African and South American hunts as well as two tickets to the 2012 Masters Golf Tournament held in Augusta, Ga. You need not be a member to attend.
