VOTING: It's not difficult

| January 8, 2012 8:00 PM

It's Saturday morning. I have notepad and pen in hand. What to write? Here goes... My list of presidents from the time I can remember and what I remember about them:

1. Eisenhower...1952-1960...Military General World War II

2. Kennedy...1961-1963...Womanizer‚ Assassinated by Oswald

3. Johnson...1963-1968...Vietnam War

4. Nixon...1969-1974...End of Vietnam War - Watergate

5. Ford...1975-1976...Pardoned Nixon

6. Carter...1977-1980...Greatest Inflation America ever had. Iran hostages.

7. Reagan...1981-1988...Tax Cuts - Prosperity in America

8. Bush Sr....1989-1992...Desert Storm. Read "My lips"... No new taxes.

9. Clinton...1993-2000...Oral sex in White House

10. Bush Jr....2001-2008...9/11 and war on terrorists

11. Obama...2009-?...The Great Recession

The above list represents 60 years of government in America. Since 1964 I have voted in every presidential election and I will vote in the next one if the good Lord keeps me alive until then. I will make my choice based upon my list above and will decide what will best serve my country, my children and my grandchildren.

It's very simple in America to make a choice in our presidential elections because the voter's choice ALWAYS comes down to "EITHER" - "OR." Your choice will be just as easy. EITHER - OR. Either you will vote for more of the Great Recession, OR... you will choose something different.

At this time I have no idea what this "something different" will be. Soon though, I and other voters will know what it is and all of us who vote will make our choice in November. Anyone who is of voting age will have the capacity to make their choice.

All of the media hype, all of the arguments for or against, all of the "bulls-t," all of the lies that are and will be told to voters will not make our choice any more complicated than I just outlined above. The voter's choice will simply be this easy. MORE OF THE GREAT RECESSION - OR. We who vote will figure it out. Those of you who do not vote will simply complain. IT'S NOT DIFFICULT.
