Roma Engle, 95

Roma Lillian Engle, 95, passed away Dec. 22, 2011, at Kootenai Medical Center. She was born June 5, 1916, in Limon, Colo., to Frank and Dora Manuwal.

She attended a country school there and then went on to Bible School. Roma married Stanley Engle in Colorado Springs in 1948 and they moved to Harrison. They moved to Hayden in the early 1970s where they resided until Stanley's death in 2003. Roma lived at Heritage place for several years and then moved to Rose Terrace until her death.

Roma had a deep desire to live to serve the Lord. Her hobbies included gardening and tending to her flowers. Roma was a homemaker and loved to bake. She was a beautiful person who loved her family and friends.

Roma and Stanley had no children. She is survived by two sisters, Katherine of Minnesota and Elma of Colorado; numerous nieces and nephews; and her friend, companion and help-mate, Betty Palm, who treated her like family. A very special "thank you" to Rose Terrace Assisted Living.
