Naomi Ruth Miller, 76

Naomi Ruth Miller passed away Jan. 2, 2012, at Hospice on her mother's birthday. She was born May 11, 1935, in Hillsboro, Ore., and moved here with her family in the 1940s.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Oren I. Hutchison and Edith A. Hutchison (Pixler). Also brothers Rev. David O. Hutchison and Raymond L. Hutchison.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gene Gibbs; four children David Miller and his wife Brenda, Ray Miller and his companion Teresa, Debra Bye and her husband Ralph, and Randy Miller and his wife Korin; her sister-in-law, Marjorie Hutchison; her grandchildren, Dave, Tom, Sharena, Sharlotte, Shereen, Gary, Tim, Moranda, Bethany, Coral and Schyler; numerous great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.

Ruth loved baking with her granddaughters, taking walks, picnics with family, fishing and playing in the ocean. She loved the Lord and enjoyed singing in church. We love you Mom and Grandma. You will be missed.

Memorial services will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Spokane Valley Assembly, 15618 E. Broadway.
