SANTORUM: Why he has this vote

| February 19, 2012 8:00 PM

I have had time to absorb what I witnessed Tuesday at The Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course and I am now very certain of my choice, Senator Santorum to be the next president of the U.S.A.

First of all, this man talked for 90 minutes and then answered questions from the very large crowd and he did not even use a monitor. He did not hem-haw around on questions. He did not badger his opponents (only Obama on occasion) but stated his opposition to Obama's actions.

I've learned that people on the left are very concerned with Santorum as the news was full of scare tactics from them. These are as harmful to themselves as are the goings on between Romney and Gingrich.

I am not a politician but I do have a vote. I've been around for a while (going on 82 years) and I wish my children and grandchildren to have the same opportunities I had. If you observe other countries where the leader controls everything, there is little love from the people to that leader. Just read the paper or see the news and you know what I am talking about.

In 2008 Obama went for the young people and got the vote. Now these young people are a few years older and smarter and they will, if they use what is between their ears, go for Santorum. I remember the time in the ‘30s when a corporal took over in Europe, utilized the young people and then came World War II.
