Katherine Moore, 63

Katherine Moore, age 63, resident of Hollister Hills, of Hauser, passed away Feb. 10, 2012, at the Hospice House, in Coeur d'Alene, after an extended illness. Katherine was born Feb. 18, 1948, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to Raymond J. and Helen (Cullen) Stanis.

After moving to this area, Katherine worked for several years at Duncan Gardens, in Coeur d'Alene, where she met and later married Bill Moore in 1982. She then became a Realtor, working with Caldwell Banker Realty in Coeur d'Alene. Her last employment was in the sales office at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. Katherine has maintained wonderful friendships from all of her careers. For the last six years, when her mother moved in with them, she devoted herself to being her mother's caregiver. She and Bill were very active with the Spokane Corvette Club, where she also cherished her many friends.

Katherine is survived by her loving husband Bill, son Chad Kaiser, of Crested Butte, Colo., two brothers Raymond (Buddy) Stanis, of St. Maries, and Tommy Stanis of Daytona Beach, Fla.

At her request, there will be no public service. English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. 4th Street, Coeur d'Alene, is entrusted with her care.
