EASTON: Look at BSA history

In regard to the fate of Camp Easton, you have to understand how BSA works. In the early 1990s they wanted the Idaho Panhandle Council and the Lewis and Clark Council consolidated with Spokane. Makes administration simpler. At executive board election time, all board members from Shoshone District except District Chairman Brad Kitchen were railroaded off the board. Consolidation passed.
Now BSA wants that $2.5 million endowment fund being dangled by Gozzer. There are virtually no members of the current executive board from Idaho, none from Shoshone County.
There was an old saying that started with, "A scout is trustworthy." And there were several other things - need to look that up.
