PAUL: Good guy, but unelectable

| February 10, 2012 8:00 PM

The average number of terms for many congressmen is far beyond what it ought to be - 12 terms is too many!

I have much respect for those who support their candidate with money and hard work. Ms. Mary White is one of those hard workers. She strongly supports Ron Paul for president. I respect what she is doing and what she has done. She must be a fine lady.

In picking a favorite candidate to run against an incumbent, we should put aside personal feelings and choose a candidate who can win. I like Ron Paul, he is a fine honest man who has "served" 12 terms in Congress. The problem: Is he electable?

The job is for sale, like it or not. Obama has all the money and resources he would ever want, free transportation, free ads, free security, he has the podium and the airways (TV) anytime he says he has a statement. He has been campaigning ever since he took office. Only more power campaigning in the months to come.

I like Ron Paul, but I don't believe he is electable. You must decide. We can't afford any more dictatorial powers of a Socialist who has no regard for the Constitution of the United States of America to continue. Unfortunately a vote for Ron Paul is indirectly a vote for you know who.
