SHERIFF: Letter couldn't be clearer

In response to Mr. Cliff's letter of Feb. 5 regarding Adam Johnson running for election as sheriff. Your letter stated your opinion on this matter quite clearly.

However your last paragraph, and I quote, "Adam Johnson running for sheriff is a little like the four-eyed, runny-nosed Little League right fielder hoping to be team captain" is mean-spirited to say the least.

So I say to all our boys and girls playing sports for the fun of it, even though you may wear glasses and have a runny nose, have fun and enjoy the ride.

And to Mr. Cliff I say, pick on someone your own size next time and keep your snarky comments regarding kids to yourself.
