ROMNEY: Job is not for sale

| February 5, 2012 8:00 PM

It's rare to see liberals, conservatives and libertarians agree on anything but when it comes to Mitt Romney, the verdict is nearly unanimous: He is an empty suit that will say anything to be elected. If his robotic mannerisms, arrogant demeanor and complete unwillingness to answer questions directly weren't enough to show the masses his vacuous nature, his 180-degree shifts on the issues revealed himself.

In 2003 Romney signed a pact in favor of reducing carbon emissions ("cap and trade"). Now he questions whether man-made global warming exists. He claims that Obamacare is a disaster but in 2008 he said: "I like mandates. Mandates work." And he defended the idea of state-subsidized health insurance.

Romney used to be pro-choice before he was pro-life. Romney balanced his state's budget by increasing taxes (he likes to call them "fees"). Mitt Romney voted in 1992 for Paul Tsongas, a Democratic senator.

It's clear that Romney has no real convictions and will say anything to be elected. Don't let him buy the nomination with his Wall Street super PACs when there are candidates with a history of firm views on policy issues that are still in the race.
