HAMMOND: Best fit for NIC leader

If we could get Jim Hammond to accept the position of president of North Idaho College, we would go a long way in getting the best of the best. He truly understands North Idaho and the educational needs as well as the community involvement to get there. I cannot believe we would find a better candidate to be the president of NIC. I understand he has a master's degree and that will be enough as far as I am concerned. I found no reason to have a doctorate degree when he has all the experience in running Post Falls as mayor and administrator. Let's get this done.
