FERNAN: Great school, good people

How dare The Press print one side of the story regarding Fernan Elementary. Mrs. Brott and her team at Fernan Elementary are under enormous pressure everyday to provide services to all the children in their department. If the parents in the article are truly that unhappy maybe they should volunteer a couple days a week and quit blaming everyone else.

If I remember correctly this is the same family that the community supported in getting a dog for their child to help with his needs. The aide does the best job they can, they cannot predict every instance that can happen with the student. Fernan Elementary gets children with needs from any school in the district and bends over backward for them. Our daughter has been at Fernan Elementary since pre-school. I can't imagine a better team than Fernan and Mrs. Brott and her team.
