WORK: That's a figure of speech
When I read the headlines "Lawmakers Get Back to Work," I felt compelled to share my opinion on this subject. It was openly reported nationally this past week, WE THE PEOPLE are recipients of a collective 40,000 new laws, put into effect as of 2012.
We have our government's federal, state and municipal agencies to thank for the continued affect of over reaching our freedom and lives. Why do politicians believe all ills, potential problems and goods, require a law? The unfortunate state of California received 760 of these unsolicited laws.
Frankly, we do not need government to do more in this area, we need less. Increasing power by governing reduces our freedom. Simply said, we don't need government going back to work, we need them to go on vacation.
