Larry G. 'Whitey' Hendrickson, 73 Aug. 3, 1938 - Jan. 28, 2012

| February 1, 2012 9:00 PM

Whitey passed away suddenly at the home he and his wife, Doreen, of 23 years shared together in Post Falls.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Carol Scheon of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and Nancy Doll of Dallas, Texas; son Jack Hendrickson of Ohio; sisters, Rita Meyer of Chippewa Falls, Joy McDonongh of Chippewa Falls; step-daughter Tia Timmer of Post Falls; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Whitey was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Blanche (Bolin) Hendrickson; sister Gayle Loew and daughter Kay Fern.

He was a hardworking electrical power lineman for more than 50 years and was proud to be part of the IBEW Local 77 Union.

Whitey "worked like a farmer and drank like a sailor." His favorite pastimes were fishing, camping, hunting and "fluff" patrol (babe watching) with his father-in-law at Coeur d'Alene beach. Whenever a family member or friend was in need he was always the first to be there.

God bless you my loving husband, you were my life. Rest in peace my love and we will meet again someday. Your wife forever and always, Puss.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, with a reception to follow in the chapel's reception room.
