GUNS: Abortion a bigger killer

While speaking at the Newtown prayer vigil President Obama said our first responsibility is to keep our children safe. If we don’t get this right we won’t get anything right. I think we would agree with this statement. However, isn’t it hypocritical to make this statement while embracing a philosophy that supports the murder of millions of innocent babies in the womb?

Recently while addressing the nation the president emphasized the importance of the American people to act responsibly for the sake of our children in regard to the control and use of firearms. I agree with some of the president’s statements. He suggested that all interested parties come together and work toward reasonable solutions regarding differences in the interpretations of the Second Amendment. Perhaps legislation could be drawn up that would address the issues relating to military style automatic weapons with an attached EARMARK that would put an end to abortion.

As a nation we are mourning the massacre of those killed by the use of guns at the Sandy Hook School. We should also as a nation mourn the violent murders of the millions of innocent babies in the womb. When we put a stop to the violation of God’s laws we will once again with a clear conscience be able to say God Bless America!

A brief aside: President Obama, during a brief press conference following his address to the nation, when asked about the debt ceiling said it is not on the table for negotiation as part of the plan to stop going over the fiscal cliff. Just moments earlier he said his plan was the best debt reduction plan in 10 years. Please tell me why he needs to be able to raise the debt ceiling if he is paying down the debt? If we operated this way with our personal finances the result would be BANKRUPTCY. If the president is allowed to continue in the direction he is going the result will be a national BANKRUPTCY. Who do you think will pay for this outrageous debt?
