Betty Mae Crabbe, of Coeur d’Alene, died Dec. 21, 2012, at North Idaho Hospice in Coeur d’Alene. Betty was born as Betty Mae Farned on Nov. 1, 1929, in Los Angeles, Calif.
She attended Compton High School and met Bud in 1946, and they were married Sept. 23 that same year in Yuma, Ariz. They have three children: Linda Hicks, Dennis Crabbe and Blaney Crabbe.
When her youngest child was in school, Betty took a course together with her daughter and became a dental assistant. Betty will be greatly missed by family, friends, and everyone who knew her. Yates Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
