POEM: Make their dreams come true

Wake up my Brothers and wake up the dreams
of cookies and candies and chocolate creams
Of children with lots of good things to eat
with dolls and yo-yos and drums to beat
With clothes that are warm and shoes watertight
and Christmas trees that are sparkling bright
With baseballs and bats and little tin hats
and oranges and apples and turkeys so fat
Be generous my Brothers and spread Christmas joy
with a little food, a smile and a toy
Be generous my Brothers leave a dollar on the drum
for this way again you will not come
The chance to help a child may slip away
and God may not find you on Judgment Day.
