PLOWS: Abide by the law, please

| December 22, 2012 8:26 PM

Just a word of caution to all Coeur d’Alene drivers.

The snow plow trucks are out and about and evidently this year they are not required to abide by ANY traffic laws.

As I was driving north on Ramsey approaching Kathleen at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, a plow truck approaching Ramsey from the east drove through his/her red light and forced me to abruptly stop (to the extent that one can on a snowy/icy road) in the middle of the intersection until he turned north into the lane I was in. Had I not been driving less than 15 mph I would have hit plow truck number 220.

If you must drive today and find yourself in the vicinity of truck 220, protect yourself or at least your vehicle and avoid that operator.
