GUNS: Zero in on 1st Amendment
We hear all the talk about Second Amendment rights to own a firearm and what the Founding Fathers intended. For me it is very clear: Law-abiding citizens are authorized to own firearms.
When will the debate begin on what the Founding Fathers intended in the First Amendment clause on free speech? Is there any association between all the violence exploited in the movies, on TV and computer games with the violence as seen recently? Does free speech include the right to promote dedicated violence to the populace? Is there any association with the unlimited violence being distributed to the populace and the violence being conducted in schools, shopping malls, etc.?
Is there a Constitutional right to unrestrictedly promote the violence we are all exposed to?
I want to see debates on the First Amendment!
