Charlotte Wylie, 92

Charlotte Wylie, 92, of Coeur d’Alene, passed away on Dec. 18, 2012, in Coeur d’Alene. She was born Nov. 4, 1920, in Coeur d’Alene to Oliver and Edna Tyree.

Charlotte was one of 11 children. On March 1, 1941, she married her husband of 71 years, Howard Wylie, in Moscow. Together they traveled and enjoyed being snowbirds in Arizona and Nevada. Charlotte was a 40-year member of the Eagles Aux in Coeur d’Alene. She also enjoyed bowling and fishing but her life was about being a wife and mother, two things she excelled at.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Howard, at home; sons, Gerald L. Wylie of Coeur d’Alene, James and Beverly Wylie of Graham, Wash.; and grandchild Gregory Thomas of Seattle. She is preceded in death by her eight sisters and two brothers.
