HATRED: Take a deeper look
Every year at this time, wealthy organizations alleging themselves anti-hate institutions launch massive media efforts that generate hate against others.
Powerful publicity attacks keep people from jobs and from housing. The attacks discourage understanding and learning. The December First Society asks that you meet the people you are told to hate. Take time to listen first. That’s the way to solve problems.
One of our greatest strengths is that we toss governments at every election. Despite this, you will be asked to hate “dangerous anti-government patriots.” Everybody is anti-government. One of the most viciously targeted groups described as anti-government has as its only goal, the refusal to accept illegal orders in government service. If you are thinking about hating these folks, meet them before you make your decision.
Often anti-hate organizations allege racism in groups that consist of many cheerfully cooperating races. Examine these things for yourself. Please don’t let anyone make you a hater.
Naming people as, “extremist” is now an extremism of its own. Instead, if you see something wrong, use your friendship to improve relationships.
If you are taught to hate Republicans, Conservatives, Right-Wingers or the pwand (people who are not Democrats), please meet them in person. You’ll be glad you did. There are no throwaway people.
