Knudtsen Toy Drive scores big

| December 13, 2012 8:00 PM

POST FALLS - Since September, Knudtsen Chevrolet has been collecting toys for children in the Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene area for the upcoming holiday season.

At Post Falls, Lake City, Lakeland and Coeur d'Alene home football games, the Knudtsen Toys for Tots Silverado was on display accepting toys for children.

Through an aggressive ad campaign, residents were encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy in exchange for a free ticket into the game.

In addition, Knudtsen Chevrolet was involved with Tailgating for Toddlers, courtesy of the Hometown Chevrolet Dealers Association, of which Knudtsen is a member.

Once again, an aggressive ad campaign was in place to encourage residents to bring a new unwrapped toy and help fill up the Silverado.

The program was in conjunction with Chevrolet's national campaign "Chevy's giving more."

To date, both programs have had overwhelming success collecting hundreds of toys for children in our community.

For more than 73 years, Knudtsen Chevrolet has been a strong community leader in North Idaho.

"We are also proud to be partnering with Toys for Tots this year to make a child's Christmas just a little brighter," said a press release.
