CARRIER: Thanks for the vigilance

My wife, Darlene and I want to very much THANK your Press delivery person for what happened about 3 a.m. Saturday. It seems while delivering The Press to our house, the front door had blown open before their stop. David Guffey delivered the paper and noticed the door opened and called the Rathdrum Police Department. They in turn called our house and woke us up to what had happened. Mr. Guffey stayed until the police came and all was fine.

It could have been a bad scene especially after the kidnapping of a Rathdrum lady. Please convey to Mr. Guffey and to the Rathdrum police that even though all was fine, we are thankful for their care and watching out for folks on David’s route. Many thanks again.
