Friction Technologies opens in Coeur d'Alene

Friction Technologies, 3833 West Industrial Loop, is a new service recently opened by David McCullough, who has 28 years of experience with coatings and their application.

Friction Technologies, LLC provides a service to businesses and homeowners that have problems with slippery floors, bathtubs, pool decks, stairs and ramps.

It has a solution for tile, concrete, porcelain, enamel, stamped concrete, wood, fiberglass and more.

Mineral surfaces are chemically treated (not a coating) and ready to go back into service immediately after treatment.

Other types of substrates may require an actual high friction coating.

"This service is a must for any business looking to limit their exposure to slip and fall lawsuits," according to a press release. "It is also a great, inexpensive way to prevent injury to yourself, your family or especially older folks in and around bathrooms, showers, pools, docks and entry ways."
