HOLIDAY: Their cups runneth over

| December 1, 2012 8:15 PM

We have a lot to be thankful for. We both are in our 80s and thanks to some great doctors, I can still drive so we are out and about most days.

Other things we are thankful for: We made last-minute shopping at Super 1 Foods. When I went to write the check, the cashier said it was all taken care of. I don’t know who paid but we want to thank you for the Thanksgiving dinner.

Our ex-daughter-in-law, who lives in a small apartment, told us if we furnish the table and chairs she would prepare the dinner. Ten family members and three guests came for dinner, the most complete dinner ever served. So we have a lot to be thankful for.
