SHERIFF: Who not to vote for

I would just like to say something about the sheriff’s forum at the Candlelight Church on April 19. This was not a forum for sheriff but a platform for John Green to take over the microphone and spew some very evil ideas if he became sheriff.

As a retired police officer, I would not work under John Green. He does not like the S.W.A.T. team, he would arrest other agencies that come into Kootenai County without his permission. What struck me the funniest is that he gave a narrative on how he would change the jail BUT he also said he was never in the Kootenai County Jail but did say he worked in a jail in Houston sometime before 1985.

The panel’s questions were chosen well. If they weren’t, why did John Green have a video ready to show the audience? The only question that appeared not to be planted was when a gentleman asked if he was the same John Green that was barred from practicing law in Washington, D.C., and he is that person.

It appeared that Keith Hutcheson and Ben Wolfinger were just pawns in this chess scrum. If the citizens of Kootenai wish to elect John Green, they are going to get someone who would like to consider himself the Sheriff, County Prosecutor, County Public Defender and even a Judge.

Stick with either Ben Wolfinger or Keith Hutcheson BUT please, not John Green.
