RECALL: One view from Hayden

| April 27, 2012 9:00 PM

Watching this recall unfold is like watching an old “Charlie Chaplin” movie. The “rant” on the front page of The Press and the letters to the editor that try to defend the idiocy behind keeping this list of clowns in office is humorous. It should be obvious by the results of the last election, that the majority of people want a change in city hall.

I am not a citizen of Coeur d’Alene and cannot vote in this recall, but if I could I would if for no other reason than they are using my tax monies for projects that have little or no value to me. Yet I cannot voice my opinion. I think that is called “Taxation without representation.” Oh well, arrogance by politicians seems to be the “in thing” these days. Look at Washington, D.C.
