Evelyn Jean Larsen, 58

On April 21, 2012, Evelyn Jean Larsen, 58, passed away peacefully at Hearthstone Assisted Living Facility in Post Falls. Evelyn was born on Feb. 18, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio. The eldest of five siblings, she is the daughter of Nancy Stockner of Coeur d’Alene, and the late Reed Tart.

She has one child, her daughter Nancy. Evelyn loved fishing on Fernan Lake, playing bingo and spending time with her family.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Allen, father Reed and brother David.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Batista; mother Nancy Stockner; sisters, Susan Zytowiecki and Sandy Akin; her brother, John Tart; and several nieces and nephews. Evelyn will be loved and missed.

The family would like to thank the employees of Hearthstone and all of her health-care workers for their skilled and loving care they gave her.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the Hayden Lake Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2293 W. Hanley Ave., Coeur d’Alene.
