RECALL: Fight is about power

| April 25, 2012 10:00 PM

So there seems to be a never-ending amount of “groups” coming out against the recall. What do these big fish in the small Coeur d’Alene pond stand to gain? This is more than a dispute about a boat launch. This is about money and power and maintaining the status quo. For that reason alone, I’d vote to throw the bums out.

A lot of these people have businesses that stand to gain as long as the money keeps flowing into the downtown area. These are the same people who won’t pay their employees a living wage yet want the rats to keep feeding and recreating in their taxpayer-funded cage they have set up in downtown Coeur d’Alene.

However, I would support the LCDC kicking in 14 bucks to get Woody McEvers a haircut so he can look presentable for his new job interview.
