RECALL: Let them pay election costs

I am aware that those who wrote and submitted the current recall petition are passionate in their choice of action. If you disagree with someone, why vote them out if you can kick them out? Since a successful petition action would force a formal recall vote, costing us, the taxpayers to spend approximately $20,000, and since the petition leadership is passionate about it, why don’t they reinforce that passion by posting a bond for the $20,000 that we would otherwise be forced to waste? I believe the quote is, “put your money where your mouth is.”
