William 'Cliff' Gassett, 73

1939-2012

Cliff went to be with our Lord April 11, 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Jill; son William (Tracy) Gassett II; granddaughter’s, Alyssa and Kristin; his stepson, Keith (Nora) Hagar; granddaughter’s, Megan and Devyon; brother Butch Gassett; nephew John; sister Linda Watkins; and niece’s Gabrielle and Caprice.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie and father William Zachary Gassett.

Cliff was born in Butler, Ga., and served in the United States Marine Corps. He became an Architect/Project Manager in St. Simons, Ga., California and then internationally, a vocation he dearly loved.

In 2003 he retired to Post Falls to pursue his love of water. He had sailed his sailboat for years on the East Coast. Here he and his wife pursued his love of fly fishing, canoeing, camp hosting and woodworking. He was a life member of the Pappy Boyington Marine Corp League and received great satisfaction doing service projects and fundraising.

Cliff will be laid to rest at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Eastern Washington Veteran’s Cemetery in Medical Lake, Wash. Please sign Cliff’s online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
