James Edom, 68

James Marion Edom died surrounded by family on Thursday, April 12, 2012, in Coeur d’Alene. He was born Feb. 25, 1944, in Eugene, Ore.

His loss will be deeply felt, and his hugs will be sorely missed. He lived his life passionately, dedicated to his loving family.

A child at heart, he spent countless hours promoting and contributing to youth sports, primarily to CDA Tackle.

As a hero to his family and a loving husband to his wife of 48 years, Kelly, his love continues to demonstrate the best qualities of life.

Jim is survived by his wife Kelly; children Jeffery and Lynette Edom, Brian and Sonya Edom and Bradford; grandchildren Corinne, Kathryn, Brison and Delaney; brother

William Glenn and Peggy Edom; nephew John Edom; and other extended family.

Funeral services were 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at Yates Funeral Homes Coeur d’Alene.
