POLICE: Verify acts independently

I am so glad Troy Evans’ account of the shooting of Justin Todd was recorded. Mr. Evans deserves a public service medal for his letter and video.

I applaud the Coeur d’Alene Press for printing it and having the video available for viewing. I believe every incident involving the police should be recorded by an independent organization.
