Lawrence E. Nevin (Larry), 80

Lawrence E. Nevin (Larry), of Coeur d’Alene, passed away at home on April 4, 2012. Larry was married to Mildred D. Brown on Oct. 15, 1955, in Glasgow, Mont.

Larry served in the Navy from February 1950 to December 1953, where he was an aircraft mechanic. He retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1992 after 35 years of service. During his lifetime he was an active member of the Scottish Rights, Masons and Shrines.

Larry is survived by his wife, Mildred; daughter Tamara Snyder of Aurora, Colo.; and grandsons, Lyle Nevin, Michael Snyder and Toni Allen. He also has two great-grandchildren, Ryker Allen and Jillianna Snyder.

There will be a memorial held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at the First Baptist Church, 424 E. Wallace Ave., Coeur d’Alene.
