LAUNCH: No, we don't all walk

Mayor Bloem once again has shown that she is woefully out of touch with “her subjects,” otherwise know as the voters. I am a Vietnam-era disabled veteran and confined to a wheelchair except for short distances. I enjoy boating and make extensive use of the Third Street boat ramp. For Mayor Bloem to actually say “We are all walking, all of us walk,” is one of the most insensitive, stupid, ignorant statements I’ve ever heard a person make, let alone an elected politician. Sandi, how about a public apology?
