Two companies merge to become Big Foot Log & Timber Homes

Big Foot Manufacturing, a manufacturer of quality log and timber homes, and CNW Log Homes of America, a marketing company in the U.S., are now together under one name, Big Foot Log & Timber Homes.

According to Wayne Brown, the Senior V.P-Sales/Operations for Big Foot, "This merger brings everything together for a more cohesive approach to Big Foot's overall corporate strategy: top quality homes, great value and outstanding service for our customers. Added to that our company is now focusing on Douglas fir which we feel is a far superior option to the traditional spruce pine mix in both appearance and strength."

The former CNW staff will still be responsible for the marketing and sales activities in the U.S. under the direction of Big Foot. Ron Nicolson, vice president of sales and dealer management will focus on dealer recruitment, training and overseeing sales while Pam Nicolson, marketing and public relations will be tasked with focusing on branding Big Foot Log & Timber Homes throughout the U.S.

Ron and Pam Nicolson own Duncanwoods Log Homes in Carlin Bay and are dealers for CNW Log Homes, in conjunction with being part of the CNW corporate staff.

With the housing market starting a slow comeback, Big Foot Log & Timber Homes believes this is an excellent time to merge the production and marketing together. A single unit dedicated to service and pricing driven by an outstanding quality product.
