MARINE: Right, wrong not clear

As a USMC veteran I wonder about what people believe or disbelieve. Is it right to convict a Marine for shooting people who were unarmed? Was it right? You cannot fathom the amount of fear going through that person’s mind… and the guilt he or she may have to live with for the rest of their lives, giving up everything to find the answers, what was right or wrong.

They made a movie about Desert Storm that seemed pretty simple but what you didn’t catch was at the end. He says, “For some of us, we will never leave that desert.”

They say the streets to Kuwait were paved in gold and that Saddam took it. They even made a movie of this, that military personnel took it. Well I don’t know about that but I know a Russian who is very rich, and I know there is gold in the St. Joe mountains 4 feet down from where we carved our names. And no, you don’t lose your mind but you pray every day you do.
