DANCING: Winning duo inspire others

Something wonderful happened last weekend. Two of our finest local young people dared to dream and they chased that dream to victory in the national ballroom dance finals in Baltimore, Md., with first-place awards.

Way to go Bayley Brooks and Nick Kane and your supporting families! What an outstanding example of commitment to your goal and the sacrifices you and your families made to succeed. You have set a fine example of dream chasing for others to follow. We have a good feeling that this isn’t the last chapter in this adventure. Thanks for sharing your talent and personal inspiration with all of us. Congratulations! Keep the dream alive!
