WOLVES: Idea won't work

Regarding Ms. Lee Wood’s letter in the March 28 issue, spaying and neutering predators won’t work unless, while they are caught and sedated, you remove their teeth.

Spaying and neutering was suggested many years ago for coyotes, to which a wise old sheep man reminded the proposer that the coyotes aren’t making love to the sheep, they’re killing them.

Get real. Wolves are an invasive species just like all the pretty ornamentals that were introduced years ago and now choke out the native landscape, ruining critical habitat for wildlife and livestock. See a pattern here?
