BOY: Here's rest of the story

| September 30, 2011 10:00 PM

In regard to the 5-year-old Post Falls boy: First of all lack of information has a lot to do with why the lady grabbed the boy. The lady stopped him from throwing a rock at a girl several houses away, no parents in sight. The father came over swearing and threatening, pointing his finger in the lady's face.

This 5-year-old has a potty mouth, likes to throw rocks, sticks, metal and sharp objects using them toward neighbor kids. Also he takes mail from mailboxes, purposely rides his bike in front of vehicles and heavy equipment. When he is playing with the neighbor kids and his mom yells for him out the window or slider that it is time to go in, he throws a fit, yells, hits and swears. During these times where this boy is out by himself, parents or baby sitter are inside.

To more serious concerns he pulls his pants down in front of the neighborhood kids and swears at them, and he destroys neighborhood landscapes as well.

To the police issue, neighbors have called police numerous times in regard to this boy. One of the latest remarks from the father was that no one can do anything about a 5-year-old. Is it not the parents' job to watch over their own little boy? Truthfully, does a caring mother with four of her own need to be sued? When all she is doing is what a parent does. The truth of the matter is the lady is being misjudged, and the boy needs guidance.
