Barbara Shaver, 76

Barbara C. (Wolfe) Shaver was born June 7, 1935, in Lawton, Okla. She passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family July 28, 2011, at the age of 76.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Floyd; her daughter, Carol Lynn Brown (Mike); her son, Robert Floyd Shaver (Laura); five grandchildren, Reanna, Nellie, Alex, Celeste and Emily; her brothers, Floyd and Jan Wolfe; her sister, Cynthia Jensen; and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara loved her family and was a very active mother and grandma in spite of living with rheumatoid arthritis for more than 46 years. She was active in United Methodist Women and loved to travel with her husband. She was loved dearly by all her family and will be greatly missed, but we know she has passed on to be with the Lord our Savior.
