PLOWING: ITD plan unacceptable

I was very interested in the article on snow plowing. It seems that the Idaho Transportation Department can't afford to plow the roads during the night in the five northern counties this winter. We live north of Spirit Lake and my husband travels Highways 41 and 95 to Coeur d'Alene to work at a body shop. I wonder if they will hold his job if he can't get to work every day.
I may not be a bureaucrat but I have a suggestion, ITD. Why don't you split the workers between the day and the night shifts? Maybe this is too simple and I'm sure I will hear why this won't work, but I guarantee you will be hearing from the people when the accident rate rises dramatically this winter. You had better rethink this decision.
