JOBS: Reasons to be skeptical

| September 14, 2011 10:00 PM

President Obama said 17 times in his speech that we must pass it now and everything in the bill will be paid for.

Yea, by us! One way or another.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said we had to sign the health-care bill? We had to sign it before we knew what was in it.

It was forced through, and what we found, in addition to what we did know, was the absolute control the government would have in all medical decisions up to and including death. If you're old, it doesn't matter how spry you are, the government will not spend the money they deem too expensive, just for a few more years. And by the time I am old, in their estimation, everything will be too expensive because most of the working people will have quit their jobs rather than pay for everybody else through excessive taxation.

The government has run amok with liberal ideas that have ripped the fabric of America. Not only the economic future of our country is at stake, but, more importantly, our religious freedom. Recently, the news reported that under Obama, 50,000 pages of new federal regulations have been entered in the Federal Register. Compare this to Bush with 8,000.

The Administration wonders why large companies are holding their cash; it shows they know not what they do, unless intentional. American business is being strangled. "Remove the barriers to getting rich and watch the economy get out of the ditch."
