Freddy Way, 3

Frederick "Freddy" Daniel Way, 3, passed away Sept. 1, 2011. He was born July 27, 2008, in Coeur d'Alene, to Dale and Heather (Patterson) Way. Freddy was a very loving and caring little boy, sharing his toy's with others and greeting everyone with a hug. He loved playing tag with his big sister Brooklynn, to whom he gave the special nickname "Yeah-Yeah." Freddy enjoyed many cartoon's such as Oobi, Dino Dan, Wow Wow Wubzy and the Bubble Guppie's. He was all about his dinosaurs. Freddy could name at least five different dionsaurs on sight alone, but his favorite one of all was the might "P-Rex," as he would call it. Freddy also loved baseball, race cars, and pirates as all little boys should. He was looking forward to camping, fishing and s'mores. Since May 2010, he along with his sister have been going to daycare at home with kids where he was fondly given the nickname "The Greeter" because he would say "hi" to everyone who walked in the door. Freddy was excited to start pre-school this year. He is survived by his parents, sister Brooklyn "Yeah Yeah," of Hayden, great grandparents Kenneth Patterson, of Iowa, Betty Peterson, Post Falls; grandparents, David and Linda Way, Post Falls, and Roy and Debbie Patterson, of Post Falls, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Freddy is helping other families by being an organ donor. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. We love you little man. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, with a reception to follow at the Castle Park (White Pine's Park) just north of the Funeral Chapel.
