Shirley C. Runyon, 86

Shirley C. Runyon, 86, passed away Sept. 4, 2011, in Coeur d'Alene. She was born May 8, 1925, in Spokane to Cecil and Vlancia Hammerly.

She married Ralph Runyon in 1959 in Coeur d'Alene and they made their home in Hayden. Shirley worked at Montgomery Ward for many years and retired from there on Oct. 18, 1980.

Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene. Burial will follow service at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
