FEDS: When less is more

I'm really getting tired of people asking the same silly question over and over: Who's going to pay for it? Bob Thomas' Aug. 31 letter, wonders who's going to pay for Hurricane Irene damages unless we raise taxes.
Cut spending! The government has its nose in far too many areas of our lives and spends far too much tax money for the pleasure of telling us in minute detail what we may and may not do. Restrict their meddling and wasting (as detailed AGAIN, by a Congresswoman no less, on last night's news) and Irene is easily handled.
The government has an insatiable appetite for power and money. Thomas' answer is, "Give them more!" No thanks!
