FAIR: This customer's unhappy
North Idaho Fair, who's running the show? When did the brain trust of the Idaho Fair decide that money was the fair's only concern, no longer family? Your actions show fair goers that the proud to be an Idahoan, an American with God at our side, is now a rally cry smoke screen for the real meaning of the fair. It's all about the bottom line, stupid.
Changing the start time of the Rodeo to Sunday at 12:30 p.m., with bleacher seats now at $5 a head, while moving the Demolition Derby start time to 6 p.m., at $5 a head, shows me that the powers to be were fixated on the money end only. All other considerations a distant second.
Lucky families will have the luxury of being able to kill the many hours between the Rodeo and Demolition Derby on rides and food concessions in 90-degree heat. Great forethought.
My heart goes out to the families who braved the heat, with exhausted kids in tow, in an effort to see both the Demolition Derby and Rodeo.
If you needed more money why didn't you just charge a higher admission fee? What's in store for next year? A cover charge to use the restrooms?
See ya at the fair next year. Not!
