THE STRANGER: It could happen again
He was unremarkable in appearance. Dressed like many working men, he had fairly long hair, a trimmed moustache and beard. What set him apart from many was his manner and bearing. His eyes, sharp and clear, betrayed a steely resolve.
With purpose in his walk, he turned onto Wall Street. In rapid succession he entered the offices of banks, brokerage firms and investment cartels and overturned the tables of the money changers in their Temples of Greed. This left the "money changers" scrambling to retrieve their now scattered gold wealth. Having accomplished that, our stranger rejoined the protesting "swinish unwashed rabble" occupying Wall Street.
Once the gold dust settled, law enforcement was called and a nation-wide man hunt began to find and punish the infidel. The Wall Street "Masters of the Universe" were offended as were their enablers in Washington, D. C. The Gods of Finance must be placated. There is nothing as dangerous as an offended Idol.
Bankers, pundits and politicians call for blood. Ah yes, this miscreant, infidel, terrorist and traitor must suffer for his sins. Hanging is too quick, but a public crucifixion will send his followers a message.
Don't mess with WALL STREET.
