ANTHEM: Please, be a good sport

We are CHS alumni, parents of a Post Falls High School football player and were present at the game vs. Coeur d'Alene High School last Friday, Oct. 21. The atmosphere was of excitement and speculation. The band played! The cheerleaders cheered! This was to be a big game.

We came away feeling a little disheartened, however, at the way the National Anthem was played... without both teams present (Vikings were there; Trojans were not yet on the field). Whether poor sportsmanship or poor planning, please consider assuring all participants are present when the National Anthem is played in the future.
